Ed was great to work with. Not only did he come in with the most competitive quote but he also provided insights and ideas beyond the other contracters. He was able to start and finish within the timelines he quoted and the work was done thoroughly and with attention to detail. I'm very happy with my new driveway (pavers) and highly recommend Variety Construction.

Overall I was extremely satisfied with the end result.
Ed and his team were great. Ed was responsive to every request, no detail was too small. He was personable and professional providing a variety of samples pavers to help me choose the appropriate color and design for my home. His team was prompt arriving each morning at 6:30 to begin work at 7:00 a.m. They were respectful of my neighbors and made sure at the end of the day everything was clean and in its place. Finally, his team was committed to my project until its completion which was very important contractually. Overall I was extremely satisfied with the end result, a beautiful driveway, flower and shrub planters and sidewalk.

Ed Talavera and his crew from Variety Construction were awesome! They were professional yet friendly. Ed was always on time and communicated well with the building inspector
Ed Talavera with Variety Construction was very competent, on time, on budget and his crew was very neat. He visited the jobsite on this small project before submitting an estimate to check site conditions and I believe all the others bid by drawings. He made some good observations which caused me to make some minor drawing changes that further enhanceded the project. Ed was always on time and communicated well with the building inspector to be certain that we were meeting the intent of the inspector to assure a smooth final inspection. We did not receive any corrections from the City and completed the project on schedule.

Ed Talavera was great from the bid process through the completed job. Any questions I had he answered quickly (he returned phone calls and e-mails promplty-a huge plus!). The price was very good, and once I awarded him the contract he reassured me I had nothing to worry about, he would take care of everything...and he did! The job was done on time and the project area was left clean. His crew was professional and efficient and Ed is personable and freindly. My concrete walkway is terrific (I especially like the random stone stamped area he recommended that matched our patio beautifully). I recommend Ed from Variety Construction 110%!
